展览简介Introduction

2025年是中国现代美术巨匠黄胄先生的百年诞辰。值此重要节点，广东美术馆隆重推出“百年黄胄：把生活的感动讲出来”大型纪念展。毛泽东主席曾称赞：“黄胄是新中国培养的青年画家，他能画我们的人民。”他的画风曾在社会上引起“黄胄风范”，从学者众多，在创作实践中取得显著成绩。他坚持“生活是创作的源泉”，走生活之路，以“必攻不守”的精神做人做事，对中国画的发展产生积极而深远的影响。

本次展览得到炎黄艺术馆的鼎力支持，通过100件精品力作和丰富的历史照片、影像资料，对黄胄先生的艺术人生进行全面回顾。展览关注黄胄作为画家、军人、收藏家、文化使者和现代美术馆事业开拓者的多重身份，全方位呈现他在美术创作与艺术事业方面的重要成就。

本次展览共分为六个单元：“男儿·壮志”板块是黄胄艺术起步时期的创作缩影；“军旅·边疆”板块关注他的军人身份，着重呈现其最具代表性的新疆和藏区题材创作；“慕古·逸心”板块聚焦黄胄对传统的研习和化古为我的创造；“使者·桥梁”板块讲述他以艺术为纽带促进中外文化交流的成绩；“事业·殿堂”板块以炎黄艺术馆的建设为核心，呈现黄胄为中国公共美术事业发展做出的贡献。此外，展览还专门设置“南国·水乡”专题，通过南海等题材作品，寻找黄胄艺术与广州这座岭南文化重镇之间的在地性连接。通过这样的板块结构，希望为观众呈现一个立体丰富、未被“遮蔽”的黄胄。

这次展览不仅是对黄胄先生艺术人生的立体诠释，更是重审中国美术现代化路径的重要契机——那些“源于生活感动”的艺术信条，依然在叩击着当代创作者的心扉。

The year 2025 marks the centennial of the birth of Mr. Huang Zhou, a Master of Modern Chinese art. At this significant juncture,  Guangdong Museum of Art proudly presents the grand commemorative exhibition: Centennial Reflections: Huang Zhou's Poetic Dialogues with Life. His distinctive painting style once sparked a "Huang Zhou style" in society, attracting numerous followers who achieved remarkable success in their creative practices. Huang Zhou adhered to the belief that "life is the source of creation", walking the path of life with a spirit of "always advancing, never retreating", which had a profound and positive impact on the development of Chinese painting.

This exhibition, generously supported by the Yan Huang Art Museum, offers a comprehensive retrospective of Huang Zhou's artistic journey through 100 masterpieces, along with a wealth of historical photographs and video. The exhibition highlights Huang Zhou's multifaceted identities as a painter, soldier, collector, cultural ambassador, and pioneer in the modern art museum movement, showcasing his significant achievements in both artistic creation and the broader art world.

The exhibition is divided into six sections.  Youth · Ambition section captures the embryonic phase of his art career; Military · Frontier examines his military service, spotlighting his iconic works on Xinjiang and Tibetan themes; Reviving Antiquity · Free Spirit explores his mastery of tradition and transformative innovations; Cultural Envoy · Bridging Worlds chronicles his role in fostering Sino-foreign cultural dialogues through art; and Legacy · Sanctuary centers on his crowning achievement—the founding of Yan Huang Art Museum—to showcase his contributions to China’s public art infrastructure. Additionally, the Southern Land · Waterscapes thematic section traces the regional connections between Huang’s art and Guangzhou, a bastion of Lingnan culture, through works inspired by the South China Sea. This curatorial framework aims to reveal a multifaceted and unobscured portrait of Huang Zhou.

This exhibition not only multidimensionalizes Huang Zhou’s legacy but also reopens vital dialogues about Chinese art’s modernization—those artistic credos of "born from dialogues with life" continue to resonate with contemporary creators.

关于艺术家About Artist

黄胄原名梁淦堂，字映斋。20世纪著名中国画家，炎黄艺术馆、黄胄美术基金会创建人。1925年出生于河北蠡县。1949年参加中国人民解放军，曾任《西北军区画报》和《战士读物》记者、编辑，解放军总政治部创作室、军事博物馆创作员。1975年转业，历任轻工业部工艺美术公司顾问，工艺美术学会副理事长，中国画研究院副院长，中国文联第四届委员，中国美协第三届常务理事，第五、六届全国政协委员、常委。
